Social Media Training

Social Media Training is a comprehensive training program designed to prepare executives and managers working in agriculture, food production, allied farm industries, restaurants and retail companies to learn how to effectively use and engage with social media.
The training sessions are available as either a 60-minute introductory session or a half-day boot camp. The one-hour session provides a comprehensive introduction to social media and covers usage data and trends, social media applications and tips for using them effectively, and examples of how other organizations within the food industry are using social media to connect and engage.
The half-day boot camp begins with a presentation introducing participants to the main social media applications and illustrating how to best use them through relevant examples and case studies. Participants then engage in a group activity focused on how to best respond to social media coverage - both positive and negative. Participants will also learn about how to use shared values to connect on social media, see examples of social media management tools and receive examples of tools to measure social media success.
